In May 2018 Arhag CEO Cedric Boston attended a Housing Diversity Conference, where he told the guests that the only true way to support Migrants and Refugees is to develop partnerships with specialist providers.
Cedric Boston made it clear that this model was the way forward for landlords to provide stability and strength to support services, and other small housing associations must put their social purpose at the centre of their business to ensure we can successfully support people.
Arhag Housing is currently undergoing a transformation, in becoming the ‘go to’ organisation for Migrants and Refugees. By purchasing a new office and community space in East London set to open later this year, developing partnerships to provide specialist support and assistance and leading on projects which will provide one of a kind support to residents and other migrants and refugees across the capitol.
Later that day, Arhag Housing Association was recognised at the first ever Diversity in Housing Awards as the Leading BME Organisation, the judges commented “The network they have created shows a great reach and potential to succeed.”
