The RISE into Employment programme, developed and delivered in partnership with Social Enterprise Olmec has been awarded the Best Training Programme award by 24Housing at the fifth annual 24Housing Awards in Coventry.
RISE was developed out of the need to support our residents who are faced with ever changing welfare reform measures, and members of the Migrant and Refugee community in London. RISE is a unique programme; it provides tailored support to help participants meet their potential, working backwards from their individual goals. Whether someone wants to start their own business, a Social Enterprise, or become a teacher, RISE provides the skills and confidence boosting support needed to successfully enter the workplace.
The programme is NCFE accredited, and lasts for ten weeks, comprised of 5 weeks in class and 5 weeks in a meaningful work placement, and has a success rate of 60%+. The programme is built on the philosophy ‘People not Numbers’ and provides massive benefits to participants’ confidence.
