Arhag has launched volunteering opportunities within its BME Womens Hub Project Management Team.
The BME Womens Hub is a unique partnership of five specialist organisations, Praxis, Doctors of the World, Olmec, IKWRO, and MRN. We have all come together to deliver a range of services specifically for BME Women and Girls in the UK. From employment support, digital training, benefits and welfare advice to a leadership and civic pride programme, the BME Womens Hub is an exciting project.
There are two volunteering roles available within the project management team, one with the Welfare & Benefits Advisor, and one working closely with the project manager to promote training and leadership programmes.
The roles require a commitment of a least two days per week, between the hours of 9am to 5pm (unless otherwise agreed) for a minimum of two months.
We will provide lunch expenses of £5 per day, and travel expenses, you will get the opportunity to develop new and existing skills in a multi-organisation project, the opportunity to engage with professionals across the Housing and Charity sector to boost your career, as well as providing a service that makes a real difference to BME Women and Girls across the UK.
